I've crafted all my life. I learned to knit and sew at about the age of 4 and haven't looked back. I made my own wedding dress, and I spent many happy years as a designer/tutor for UK papercraft companies and I have written magazine projects for papercraft. knitting and sewing. Now happily retired, I spend most of my time crafting! :)View all patterns by designer (32) »
A knitting pattern for baby shoes with single strap and button fastening
They are knit on two needles, and use worsted weight yarn.
They have a garter stitch sole, toe cap and heel feature and can be knit for either a boy or a girl.
They are quick and easy to knit using small amounts of yarn so you can make several pairs to match a variety of outfits.
My patterns are written in standard US and UK terms with clear instructions and plenty of pictures to guide you.
I have worked for several years writing project instructions for UK craft magazines, including knitting patterns.
You may make baby shoes to sell using the pattern, but you cannot sell or redistibute the pattern itself.
22sts and 44 rows to a 4x4" (10x10cm) square over garter stitch (every row knit)
