Pattern Description:
Last summer I spent a couple of weeks in the mountains of North Carolina learning to weave. Though it was blazingly hot during the day, the mornings were still cool and this was the cardigan I wished for as I walked to class each morning.
Gauge:
21 sts/29 rows = 4" over dot stitch with smaller needles.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Bust: 33 (34 3/4, 37 1/2, 39 1/4, 42, 44)".
- Length: 14 3/4 (15, 15 3/4, 16 1/2, 17 1/4, 18 1/2)".
- Allow 0" - 1" of ease at the bust for a close fit.
Materials:
- 600 (630, 700, 780, 870, 960)yds DK-weight yarn.
- Shown in Blue Sky Alpacas - Skinny Cotton 100% organically grown cotton; 150yds (137m)/65g; Color #301 Glacier, 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7) skeins.
You Will Also Need:
- Sizes 5 and 6 (3.75 and 4mm) needles and 16" circular needle in the smaller of the 2 sizes for neckband.
- Tapestry needle, two 3/4" buttons.
