Basic Skills Necessary:

  • follow a written pattern
  • read a chart
  • knit cables
  • increase and decrease

Pattern Description:

Apogee is a top-down v-neck cardigan with a wide collar and toggle closures. It is worked from the top-down, back and forth in one piece, with sleeves worked in the round. The raglan shaping incloses a cable, which travels down the body to create waist shaping, and back up the arm for a fun sleeve detail. Cables flow organically into the ribbing. It's the perfect boyfriend-style cardigan, and includes traditional and tall lengths (5'10" - 6'6"). (The sample design was knit to fit a 38" bust, 6' tall.)

Yardage for tall sizes: 1100 - 1980 yds (1006 - 1811 m).
Yardage for standard sizes: 1100-1320 yds.
Both are estimates; please check the return policy of your LYS, and consider purchasing an extra skein if you are taller than 6' 2" and concerned about running out.
