Pattern Description:
I wanted to make a simple, sweet cardigan for my granddaughter, so I designed the AnnLe cardigan. It has a Stockinette Stitch yoke with Seed Stitch to add easy decoration to the body.The cardigan is constructed from the top down,
front and back worked separately until sleeves are
begun. Then it is worked all in one piece. The only finishing is the ties and a row of single crochet around the neck
Gauge:
20 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 6 m (12 m, 18 m, 24 m, 4, 6) Finished chest: 17.75 (18.25, 19.5, 20.5, 23.75, 26.25)".
Materials:
- Yarn: Crystal Palace Yarns Merino 5, 100% Superwash Merino Wool; 110 yds per 50g ball; color: #5235 Charcoal, 3 (4, 4, 5, 6, 8) balls. 303 (366, 424, 489, 609, 781) yds. Needles: Size 7/4.5mm 24" circular needle and set of double-pointed needles. Size 7 crochet hook.
You Will Also Need:
- Stitch markers, waste yarn for provisional caston, spare circular needle or stitch holders, locking markers or safety pins, size 7/4.5mm crochet hook, tapesrty needle.
