Pattern Description:

This lacy vest has a pattern that draws in the waist to accent the feminine; the only sewing up required are the shoulder seams. Vest is worked back and forth from the bottom up and then divided for the fronts and back. Buttonholes are worked as you go, and it works up fast once the pattern is established. Model also shown in Caron Spa, Taupe.


17 sts = 4" in main pattern, unblocked.


  • size 8 US needle, 29" (for working the width back and forth)
  • 370-450 yds sport weight or light worsted yarn
  • 5 or 6 3/4" buttons

You Will Also Need:

  • yarn needle for weaving in ends

Suggested yarn:

370 yards of Sport weight
