This lacy vest has a pattern that draws in the waist to accent the feminine; the only sewing up required are the shoulder seams. Vest is worked back and forth from the bottom up and then divided for the fronts and back. Buttonholes are worked as you go, and it works up fast once the pattern is established. Model also shown in Caron Spa, Taupe.
17 sts = 4" in main pattern, unblocked.

A couple of years ago, I began designing knit and crochet items (I confess that I am somewhat addicted to hats...love, love, love hats and have made many for gifts, to donate, and once in while for myself). Small items that work up quickly and travel easily, like hats, wrist warmers, and scarves, seem to be on many people's lists, although I also love making shawls and larger fashion items, as well as toys and dolls. Really, I suppose I haven't come across anything I won't at least try, and I hope you are adventurous in your work, too!
