Basic Skills Necessary:

  • This pattern is good for the beginner knitter that knows how to work with double pointed needles. You should also know how to K2tog, P2tog, SSK and Kitchener stitch.

Pattern Description:

I wanted to design a sock pattern that would be good for a variegated yarn. The pattern makes the rows of color create waves. No extra work. :-)

This pattern, as with all of my sock patterns, includes the directions for the pattern to go down the heel and also the instep of the sock.

This was one of my patterns used in my sock knitting group...Death By Socks.

Why is this pattern called "3peat"? When I initially wrote the pattern it was way too big. I re-wrote it a second time and it was "just right". When I went to look for the paper version to put it on the computer...I couldn't find it. So..I frogged, a perfectly good sock to reverse-engineer the pattern! And knitted the entire sock again just to check the pattern. That's the story behind 3peat.
