Instructions for a reborn or baby 3 coloured stripe all in one romper suit in 9 sizes in either 4ply or DK yarn depending on which size you wish you knit. The set comprises of an all in one and beanie hat. It can be knitted for either a boy or a girl. When knitted, it will fit 10"-22" (25cm-55cm) height, approx 1lb-0/3 month baby or reborn.
Alternatively, you can use any self patterning yarn, or just do it plain and embellish it.
If working the 10 or 11" size, I have used James C Brett's supersoft 4ply which knits up a little bigger than standard tension. If you are using a 4ply yarn with a standard tension, then use a size larger needle than stated, i.e. 3.75mm instead of 3.25mm needles for the 10" size, or 4mm needles instead of 3.75mm needles for the 11" size.
You will need between 100g - 200g knitting yarn, 12 or 24 buttons, 2.75mm-4.5mm knitting needles and stitch holders.
This pattern has been designed by myself so it is in UK terminology. It does not follow the usual 'shop bought' format. There are 5 printed pages with clear and easy to follow instructions. All my patterns are tested by independent knitters before they are released, so every effort is made so that they come to you error free.
Although my patterns are strictly protected by copyright, which I ask you to respect, I am more than happy for any items made from my patterns to be sold.
DK = 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch on 4mm needles or
4ply = 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch on 3.25mm needles
