Easy Brioche Ribbing makes simple and very gently flared hemline peplums, a V-shaped neckline means you can wear this with a collared shirt or a relaxed Tee Top.
Bulk of body comprises of a 1x1 ribbing for total comfort, also giving plenty of negative ease. This also gives the yarn and garment loads of extra body.
The front neckband is taken around to complete the back neck giving the cardigan a neat back neck finish at the same time also keeping the neck from ever stretching out of shape.
A one button front closure allows the Peplums to swing attractively. For a funkier and younger look use one (or several) small butterfly hair clips to catch the two fronts together thus eliminating the need for a buttonhole. Alternatively make a tie belt to close.
A full length set in sleeve has flared Peplum cuffs and looks equally attractive with a 3/4 length sleeve for spring weather. Wear over a Tee or tank top picking up one of the colours in the yarn.

The Knitting Station was created as a spin off from working in the design and clothing industry for most of my life. I have never known a time when I was idly sitting without knitting needles in my hands when I was not at work in a garment factory or behind a sewing machine. Technically trained as a designer and pattern maker has brought me huge joy throughout my life.
From my work experience I gained an excellent knowledge of sizing and grading. Most of my patterns are made from the bottom up with traditional side seams which I believe is crucial for maintaining a garment's structure to ensure that all the hard work you put into your project keeps your finished garment looking good for many, many years to come.
I love to make garments that I can wear everyday, especially those that make me feel comfortable and with a sublime level of style.
Whatever your craft, we do wish you many happy hours of relaxation with Yarn in your hands!
