002-12 Aryshire - A Cabled Ponchette

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Cable
  • Knitting in the Round
  • Picking Up Stitches

Pattern Description:

This is a sweet and stylish ponchette perfect for early spring or fall. The ponchette is cast on at the neck and worked top-down. Asymetrical shaping at the hem edge makes for a sleek and stylish silhouette. After the main body is knit, cable detail following the edge is knit separately and sewn on. Hood is picked up and knit, having the same cable detail wrapping around the edge. Pattern is quick to knit and easy enough for an advanced beginner. Sample shown is knit to a Women's Small. Everyone needs something to throw on to keep cozy whether you're shopping or just walking the dog!
