I'm not sure there is anything cuter than an animal hat! Ok, maybe a baby wearing one!

You don't have to make yours in black and white! Brown and white would be cute too! Or, any two colors in the rainbow! A two tone in cream would be perfect for the modern mom who likes a neutral!
If you would like to try your hand at cables and are new to them, my Classic Cabled Cowl Tutorial is for you! You can visit my workshop right here on Craftsy! Just click on the "Workshops" button at the top of the page for all the info!
If you're fearful of doing cables, fear no more! I will show you step by step how they work. You will not believe how easy it is. (So easy, in fact, that you1/4ll wonder why you didn1/4t try them much sooner!)
The pattern uses just one skein of super bulky yarn that can be found in any hobby store or your favorite yarn shop. Plus, it's versatile enough to work as an accessory for women, men and teens!

I was taught to knit by my mother in my teens in the '70's and I quickly went from that to cross stitch and then needlepoint.
Life goes on to a full time job, marriage, a child and then in early in 2004, I was forced to stay off my feet. I pick up the needles and started with knitting a scarf and then another, and then another! Next thing I know, I have 50 of them!

Off to a local art gallery I go to peddle my wares! They loved and sold them all! Creative Design was born! Three upscale children's boutiques and women's wear shops later, here I am! Fingers flyin' with an Etsy shop sheilalikestoknit and lovin' Craftsy!
I can most often be found in "my chair" surrounded by a pile of yarn, fabric, more yarn, needles, another pile of yarn, patterns, more fabric...etc! We love to travel, eat good food, be with family and great friends!
Knitwear: my handmade knitwear is lovingly created by me! The process of choosing great fabric and yarn colors is half the fun! Knitting it all up and seeing it come together is wonderful and the final moment of seeing this creation around someones neck, on a little body, noggin or in their stroller is the BEST! I have been lucky enough to receive wonderful photos and I keep them ALL!
My Philosophy: I am committed to quality fabric and fiber. Attention to detail, craftsmanship and customer satisfaction will always be part of that philosophy.
