Zipfel is a triangular shawl. Worked in one piece beginning with one single point it is easy to adapt in size by working more or less pattern repeats. Instructions how to change size are included. To use a lace weight yarn is recommended but a light fingering weight would work as well. To get the best result use a solid or semi-solid color (using a gradient dyed yarn is not recommended because of the construction).
Pattern is tested and available in English (charted and with written instructions for the charts) and German (only charted).
gauge is not crucial for this shawl

I am a knitter in 3rd generation. My mother knits, and my grandmother (aged 91 this year) still knits, too. I learned how to knit and crochet before I learned to read.
For about 20 years I designed my own knitted wardrobe and knitted for my family and friends. Then I discovered the www and ravelry ;)
