This fingerless mitts was inspired by a traditional Japanese pattern Yagasuri(tm) I often see in Kimonos.
It is worked in round from bottom ribbing to stranded colorwork with some increasing for thumb, which will be worked later. Use tubular bind off to finish the ribbing.
The colorwork pattern is easy to remember, and you can enjoy a sequence of arrows in a variety of colors - two contrasted colors are especially great.
