"Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?
In the lane snow is glistening.
A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight, walking in a winter wonderland.

When I designed the Queen Alice sock pattern for Woolgirl's Alice in Wonderland Sock Club, I fell in love with the cables and envisioned a winter infinity scarf and cowl. Cozy, warm, wonderful. Now I'm just waiting for the snow!"


16 sts and 28 rows= 4" over st st

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 10 1/2" wide and 8" long cowl; 20" wide and 11" long infinity scarf


  • ~180 (375) yards worsted weight yarns, such as Malabrigo Rios, The Plucky Knitter MCN Lite or Primo Worsted, Kollge Yarns Fantastic, Miss Babs Yowza, Blue Moon Fiber Arts Gaea, A Verb for Keeping Warm Toasted
  • Size US 8 (5.0 mm) circular needle 24"/60cm or longer or size needed to obtain gauge

You Will Also Need:

  • Cable Needle
  • Stitch Markers
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Written for cowl with instructions for infinity scarf given in parentheses if different. Chart is also provided. Pattern worked in the round, top-down.
