Beginning Fair Isle
Sock yarn
The perfect first time Fair Isle project. Choose between the hat, fingerless gloves or the sock.
Sock is written in both traditional double pointed needle method and Magic Loop method.

Gauge:
7 sts = 1" in St st using larger needles
(28 sts = 10cm)
8.5 sts = 1" in Fair Isle using larger needles
(34 sts = 10cm)
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Hat: 20 1/2" circumference relaxed
- Socks: 9 1/2" circumference
- Gauntlets: cuff 8.5 (9.5), hand: 7.5(7.75)"
Materials:
- Hat: 150 yds of A, 25 yds of B, 45 yds of C
- Socks: 400 yds of A, 10 yds of B, 20 yds of C
- Gauntlets: 100 yds of A, 10 yds of B 20 yd of C
- Socks: US 1 dpn's or 40" circular needles
- Hat and Gauntlets: US 2 dpn's
- Hat only: US 2 16-inch circular needles
