When I was knitting my lace knit fingerless gloves, my husband said he would like a pair of fingerless gloves to work in his shop so he could continue to feel the work surface. I thought of cables for a man's design. I wanted to do a design that is not already out there. I always love how old gnarly trees look in the winter when all the twists and turns are visable. It was a real challenge to get the cable to go where I wanted it to go but I am really pleased with the result.
I love the trees in winter that show just how strong they are. I decided to design a cable stitch to commemorate the winter tree.
These fingerless gloves will keep any man3/4s hands warm but give the finger dexterity to feel his work.

My mother taught me to make a chain stitch when I was in elementary school. I was hooked. Now, I enjoy making knit and crochet patterns that I love for others to learn these wonderful arts.
