The colors of Noro yarn are always inspirational. I chose the "winding creek" motif, which uses short rows, to mix the colors together and prevent them from lining up horizontally. The simple lace pattern on the edges is to make it more interesting than just pretty colors in stockinette.
The stitch pattern is easy to memorize. The pattern contains both charts and written directions. As written, the cowl is long enough to double around your neck for warmth, or let it hang down like a scarf.
