Basic Skills Necessary:
- knit, purl, knit 2tog ( decrease 1 st), yarn over
- purl 3tog ( for the flower)
Pattern Description:
Beautiful hat made in a very pretty "Pink Fans" stitch!
The hat is made on 2 straight needles and sewn at the back.
The instructions include pictures for every step of making the "fans"
( called "clusters" in the pattern).
The flower is also knitted.
Gauge:
4 sts and 5.5 rows per 1" in stockinette stitch
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 12 months and 2-4 years
- Finished Measurements: Circumference: 15.75" (17") relaxed
- Height: 6.5" (7.25")
Materials:
- * 1 ball of Lion Brand Vanna's Choice Baby 100% acrylic yarn in Lamb
- * 1 ball of Lion Brand Vanna's Choice 100% acrylic yarn in Pink or any other medium worsted #4 yarn
- * US #9 (5.5mm) straight needles
- * a tapestry needle
- a button
