When he reached the moon is a top-down triangular lace shawl featuring a series of different lace patterns to make the knitting interesting. Worked in mohair at a loose gauge, it is wonderfully warm yet light as a cloud and big enough to snuggle into when you are in need of a little bit of comfort.
It is also beautiful worked in smooth yarn, at the same or a tighter gauge.
It is inspired by one of my favourite songs, When I reached the moon by Morten Harket. All my designs are accompanied by his beautiful voice, so I had to name one of them after one of his songs.
