Pattern Description:

This lovely felted clutch uses a rippled welting pattern to give it unusual depth and firmness. It is a perfect clutch size at 7 inches by 4.5 inches (18cm X 11cm), and includes an optional I-cord wrist strap. The stitch pattern has just enough interest that you'll enjoy making this gem over and over again.

The pattern is designed for just one skein of Patons SWS (wool/soy blend) yarn, plus US 10 (6.0mm) needles.

Note: You will need to rip out your gauge swatch AND be careful about knitting to gauge to make this bag in one skein. Original pattern has been updated to incorporate fewer repeats

Gauge:

Approx 21sts X 30rows to 4" (10cm) before felting. Finished bag is 5in tall X 8in wide (13cm X 20cm) before felting; 4.5in X 7in (11cm X 18cm) after felting
