Pattern Description:

This unique fashion scarf pattern is perfect introduction to lace work! An open vine & leaf lacy pattern can be worn year round. Its original design includes diagonal scallops on both ends and seamlessly joins in the middle. It is the cozy and hip way to bring in Autumn, or get started on that holiday and gift knitting projects.

This is a quick, project for the intermediate, or adventurous beginning knitter. The Vine & Leaf Lace Scalloped Scarf Pattern calls for one ball of yarn! approximately 177 yards of worsted or aran weight yarn (but can be made in other yarns as well).


US # 9 needles, but gauge not crucial. If
you want a shorter wider scarf, use bigger
needles, longer and thinner use smaller
needles. The samples photo's works out to
15.5 stitches in 4" of pattern.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • ABOUT!!! 8" wide and 54" long


  • 1 skein worsted weight wool blend yarn.
  • US #9 needles (or there abouts, see Gauge)
  • Tapestry Needle
