This hat design plays with the use of single decreases and increases. A simple change in the order of these stitch techniques can change the whole *direction* of your knitting.
The hat is knit from the bottom up, with 1x1 ribbing. It fits closely to the head, bringing out the texture created by the stitch pattern.
5 stitches and 5.5 rows per inch

I've been crocheting and knitting on and off since 2008. I rediscovered and renewed my knit-/crocheting fervor after cleaning up my room during the holidays and discovering old balls of yarn. Buying new sets of hooks and needles helped too. :)
I also play with my Singer Premio once in a while and am now starting to fall in love with hand embroidery.
