Pattern Description:

I was inspired by a headband i was knitting at the time.
My idea was for the short seam to be worn on the side of the head but I have seen it worn in the back as well as the front.
Dont be daunted by the many rows and pages of instructions for this pattern. I wrote out each row for convenience and to be a beginner friendly hat pattern.
This way there is no guessing at the sequence of
increases and decreases for the brim.
This hat knits simply and easily. I recommend checking
off each row as it is completed.
