Triangles within Triangles is a simple triangular shawl that starts with just a few stitches at the center neckline, and increases in pattern to create the triangle shape.
Since the knitting is stockinette stitch-based, this design uses a rate of increase that is slightly more than the typical every-other-row rate so that the resulting shape retains a pleasing width-to-length ratio.
The main pattern alternates a solid triangle with a lacy triangle. A coordinating edging is used to bind off, as well as create a pretty triangle-shaped finish to the outer edge of the shawl
This shawl easily adjusts to other sizes by knitting to length desired, and other weights of yarn with corresponding adjustment in needle size and yardage.
