Intermediate with advanced cables - knit, purl, cabling, working in the round, simple increases and decreases and finishing.

Pattern Description:

Worked from the cuff down, Trellis feature cables settled on the Stocking stitch background.
Both size socks are worked following the same pattern instructions; changing needle size and using either Fingering or a DK weight yarn makes them different size.

Gauge:

Smaller size - 17 sts and 22 rnds = 2 in / 5 cm in St St; 21 sts and 25 rnds = 2 in / 5 cm in Trellis pattern
Larger size - 14 sts and 20 rnds = 2 in / 5 cm in St St; 19 sts and 22 rnds = 2 in / 5 cm in Trellis pattern
Adjust needle size to get correct gauge if needed.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

7 3/4 (9 1/2) in / 19.5 (24) cm foot circumference and 8 3/4 (10 1/4) in / 22 (26) cm long from back of heel to tip of toe; foot length is adjustable.

Materials:

Shown in smaller size - The Unique Sheep, Verve (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 400 yds / 360m / 100g) in Turquoise, 1 skein. For larger size use DK weight sock yarn such as Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock Mediumweight.

Smaller size - 2.25mm (US 1) and Larger size - 3.25mm (US 3) set of double pointed needles or a short circular needle, Stitch markers and tapestry needle
