I am considered one of the UK’s leading lace designers and learnt to knit as a young child while growing up in Norway. My designs feature a variety of techniques including lace, cables and fair isle and I’m well known for my beautiful lace shawls as well as garments.
Since 2006, I’ve been teaching workshops at yarn shops and national shows in the UK. My workshops cover a variety of lace techniques, sock knitting, cables, steeking, continental knitting and much more. For a list of current workshops please click here. I also teach online workshops.
I’ve lived in Cornwall since I moved to the UK in1990 and I’m married with 2 teenage daughters. As well as knitting, I enjoy crocheting and spinning as well as yarn dyeing.

Tivoli contains fun stripes, easy garter stitch, a great shape which is easy to wear, a pretty, lacy border and a beautiful beaded picot cast off.
6mm miracle beads are added during the picot cast off and 4mm beads are used for the lace border. All beads are added using the crochet hook method.
