This versatile scarf/shawl is designed after historic Timberline Lodge on the east side of Mt. Hood in Oregon. It is knit end-to-end in a completely seamless manner - you will have only 2 yarn ends to weave in when finished! The pattern is easily adjusted to any size by simply adding or reducing repeat sections and will look great in many yarn weights. The diagonal bias of the main shawl body really shows off hand-dyed yarns but is equally stunning in a solid color. I have a dark forest green with a gold fleck that will make up a fantastic Christmas shawl!
20 stitches and 24 rows in 4x4" in garter stitch. Gauge is not critical. Simply adjust for the size you want by adding or subtracting repeat sections.
