Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit and Purl, Follow Knitting Charts

Pattern Description:

Tiger's Eye is worked from the top down. Diagonal zigzags meet symmetrically at the center back. The motif is increased in size in each section allowing for shoulder shaping and visual drama. Worn as a hooded wrap, shawl, poncho or cowl it is a versatile and transitional garment.


22 sts= 4" on size 6 (4.0 mm) needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • One size


  • Materials: 750 yards (680 meters) sport weight yarn, 22 sts = 4" in stockinette stitch shown in Malabrigo Arroyo, color # 48 "Glitter" 32" circular needle, US size 6 (4.oo mm), or size needed to obtain gauge 3 3/4" buttons (optional) locking stitch markers Tapestry needle
