Pattern Description:

This yarn is so gorgeously soft and the colour incredible
that I couldn't let a skein left over from my Foxhill Wood
Cardi just languish in my stash - it had to become a
slouchy-beanie! Easy to memorize, the Half Fisherman's
Rib stitch creates a warm fabric with excellent elasticity -
perfect for this very wearable hat.


21 stitches x 32 rows = 4"/10cm worked in Half Fisherman's
Rib in the round and US 9/5.5mm knitting needles
Or size needed to obtain gauge.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • To Fit Head Circumference: 19 1/2 - 23"/48 - 58.5cm Finished Circumference: 22"/56cm Finished Height: 11"/28cm


  • Yarn Malabrigo Worsted (100% Merino), 3.5oz/100g, 210yd/192m 1 Skein of #35 Frank Ochre. Or yarn that knits to specified gauge.

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 US 7/4.5mm 24"/60cm or longer circular needle 1 US 9/5.5mm 24"/60cm or longer circular needle 1 Stitch Marker Tapestry/Darning Needle
