Pattern Description:

A retro-poncho with an updated look thanks to the cool colorway! Knit with a cotton/rayon/silk blend worsted weight yarn, this poncho is knit from the top down ... with ever increasing diagonals that finish in a point.

The directions are charted and written round-by-round.

A fun poncho to knit and wear -- my almost 13yod has already claimed this one!


4sts x 6 rnds = 1" stockinette (blocked)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • one size: 7" diameter neck; length from neck to hem is 14-20"


  • approx 396 yards of worsted weight cotton blend (sample used two complete skeins of Plymouth's Kudo)
  • 9 stitch markers (one different than the other to mark beg of rnd)

Suggested yarn:
