A very easy project that creates a gorgeous woven pattern!

Pattern is written in very easy to understand terms, so that your project is fun & quick to make! If you can do basic cabling, then you can knit this

Super bulky weight yarn #6
For size 3-6 months: US15 (10.0mm) pair of straight or circular needles
For all other sizes: US17 (12.0mm) pair of straight or circular needles

Knits in approximate baby or child sizes:
(3-6 months) - 15"-17" head circumference
(6-12 months) - 17"-18.5" head circumference
(12-24 months) - 18"-20" head circumference
(24-48 months) - 20"-21" head circumference
(5-10 years) - 21"-22" head circumference

9 stitches = 4 inches on US15(10.0mm) knitting needles.

8 stitches = 4 inches on US17(12.0mm) knitting needles.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 3-6mos(6-12mos)(12-24mos)(24-48mos)(5-10yrs)


  • super bulky yarn (80-100yards/73-91 meters)
  • US17 (12.0mm) Pair of straight needles or circulars for sizes 6-12mos/12-24mos/24-48mos/5-10yrs
  • US15 (10.0mm) Pair of straight needles or circulars for size 3-6 month size

You Will Also Need:

  • cable needle(dpn works also!)
  • row counter
  • tapestry needle
  • scissors

Suggested yarn:

100 yards of Bulky weight
