This is the perfect pattern for that lovely skein of hand dyed sock yarn that you want to show off! One skein makes a lovely textured scarf. Easy pattern with great WOW factor!

Also, NO PURLING at all! Super easy to knit too! Whip one up and show off that fabulous sock yarn that's too pretty to hide inside your shoes! Also it's way easier to show off worn about the neck than hopping about on one foot. :)


not very important, you are using a much larger needle than usually used with sock yarn/fingering yarn to knit up a loose, drapey scarf. Approx 5 stitches to the inch in garter stitch (knit every row) on size 8 US needles.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • one size, approx 6.5" X 70"


  • Sz 8 US Knitting Needles (5.0 mm)
