The Textured Cable Wrap came about through my desire for a flexible garment that would add another layer of warmth during our cold mid-western winters. I'd been wanting to knit myself up a hat and scarf set and my search for the right pattern morphed into my own design of this garment that can be worn as both a hood and a scarf. I've been intrigued with textures for as long as I can remember and find cables to be an extremely graceful way to add texture without much work. The Very Easy Guide to Cable Knitting by Lynne Watterson has been a real page turner for me.
