This tam is a great introduction to stranded colorwork. Only two colors are used throughout and there are no long stretches of one color (so not long floats on the back). Use a self-striping yarn with long color repeats for a tam that looks a lot more complicated than it actually is!

I learned to knit from my aunt when I was about 7 years old, but it wasn't until 2005 that I got really serious about the sticks and string. I learned to spin in 2008 and began designing in 2011. Now my house is slowly being taken over by yarn and fiber.
