Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, hand sew, make 1, slip slip knit, knit 2 together, crochet slip stitch

Pattern Description:

The yarn, Anzula Cricket in Teal, was a big factor in the inspiration behind this purse. It's so soft and beautiful, it had to be showcased in something that would be used a lot. I researched trending purses and found a lot of them had bows, and that helped finalize the idea. It's such a sweet little purse!


28 and 32 rows = 4 in/10 cm in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 6" wide at the top, 9" at widest point, 7" tall


  • 150 yards dk yarn, 1/2 yard fabric, US 5 knitting needles PLUS two US 5 dpns

You Will Also Need:

  • sewing thread, hand sewing needle, set of purse handles, yarn needle

Suggested yarn:

150 yards of DK weight
