Pattern Description:

I love cowls. They can be easy or intricate and they don't take much yarn so you can actually buy that beautiful expensive yarn and not break the bank making a cowl. This pattern is a very easy, yet beautiful cowl. The pattern can be done as a last minute holiday gift as it does not take very long and only uses one skein of yarn. Other yarns may be substituted as long as the weight and gauge remain constant.

Gauge:

17 sts and 25 rows = 4"/10cm in swirl pattern

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 21 (24)" wide by 11" long

Materials:

  • US size 8 (5mm) 16" circular knitting needle
  • 1 ball Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable in Tidal Maree/Marea

  • yarn needle

Suggested yarn:

279 yards of Worsted weight
