This lovely sunflower beanie celebrates the last weeks of August and its color play.
I love sunflowers!
There is a lovely corrugated ribbing followed by the leaves and the sunflower field starts at the bottom with the sterns and leaves of the sunflowers and then three rows (you can also add 2 more to get a more slouchy style beanie) of sunflowers. Above all the late summer sun is shining in a blue sky with some clouds at the top.
There are many color changes in this beanie so it is more difficult than an only two-colored beanie. But in each row there are at most two colors.
Notes for bigger sizes are included.
I hope you have as much fun knitting this beanie as I had. And even more while wearing it.
Enjoy and happy knitting!
1 x 1 inch: 8 stitches and 9 rows
