My name is Lara and I love to knit! I have been knitting for 10 years. My oldest son is almost 10! Before he was born, I picked up the needles and taught myself to knit! I started with a scarf, jumped to a jacket and hat for my newborn and then to a baptism gown! I have knit many, many sweaters, hats, mitts, socks over the last 10 years! Everytime I pick up needles, I have something else in my mind I want to try!
I have an electronic systems engineering degree, but have chosen to stay home with my children at this moment. I love working with numbers, so writing up patterns is a great challenge for me!
I have 6 wonderful children, so have many opportunities to knit for them! I have also learned some crocheting as I find it adds to my knit projects!
I hope you enjoy these patterns as much as I do!
This flower was designed to reflect the colourful flowers of summer! It is knit in one strip and worked with to create a beautiful flower!! This flower would complete any type of hand work! Would look awesome on a hat, headband, purse, etc...
It is a quick and easy pattern that will use up those small amounts of yarn you have left over from other projects!!!
I knit this flower with cotton yarn, but could be knit with any yard you desire.
Knit and dream of the soon to be growing flowers of summer!!
