Stunning Samantha uses Judy's magic cast on to begin the cowl with the stitches ready for both the edging and the main body. The edging is worked perpendicularly to the main work, and leaves only 9 stitches to bind off for each edging. Beads are optional. The edging is not difficult, but keeps your attention, while the main body is a mindless, easy knit, making this an ideal gift.
Written for 2 sizes, and with the option of contrast colour edges, either size can be made with 2 skeins of light fingering yarn. (400-1100 yds)
Please note that the design does call for light fingering, which is not an option on the Craftsy pattern set up page.
18 sts and 28 rows in 4"

I started knitting to help me sanely get through the cold Alberta winters, and now I just can't stop! I love to knit and design using beautiful hand dyed yarns and prefer to support independant dyers. I share a blog with 3 designer friends at TAATdesigns.wordpress.com, tweet with them as TAATdesigns, and can be reached for pattern support at Trisha.TAATdesigns@gmail.com. I am Girlymom on Ravelry.
