Patty Nance lives on the southern coast of Oregon with her husband, two motorcycles and lots of yarn. When she is not knitting, she teaches classes, designs hand-knits, and publishes patterns. Her book Bargello Knits (Cooperative Press, 2012) introduces her bargello knitting technique with an in-depth tutorial and 28 designs. 21 sts and 32 rows = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch. Gauge is not critical in this pattern, but a different gauge will affect color placement, yardage and size of finished garment. It may be necessary to unravel gauge swatch and re-use the yarn. Take time to check gauge.
