These gorgeous fingerless gloves spiral in opposite directions. They are simple and elegant, and they are fairly easy to knit. If you haven't tried lace in the round, this is a good place to start. Instructions are clear and concise with color photos included.
This is my best selling pattern and many have completed it with ease. If you want to knit them in a heavier yarn, try my Spiraling Leaves Mitts. They are written for dk to worsted weight yarn.
6 1/2 sts per inch in stockinette on US 2/2.75 or size to obtain gauge. Row gauge not important.

When I was 5, I saw a wall of wool, colors arranged in spectral order and it was all over. Mom taught me to knit soon thereafter. Both my parents were artists so they taught me all I could hold. When it comes to yarn in any form I simply cannot resist. Since then I've shown my knitted wearable art, written two books on knitting/spinnig and teach spinning on the national level.
