Spiral Knit Fingerless Gloves

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit
  • Working on double pointed needles in the round

Pattern Description:

This is a fingerless glove pattern adapted from a pattern in a book I found, Using LionSuede give the gloves a super luxurious and warm feel as well as a snug fit. I used one skein of each yarn. I knitted this using four double pointed needles, but you can also use two circular needles if you prefer.

Gauge:

20sts and 30.5 rows = 4" (10cm) in spiral rib pattern in the round, with rib relaxed

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Will stretch to fit hand sizes up to 8" (20.5cm) around, about a woman's size large. Circumference about 6 1⁄2" (16.5cm) around (unstretched), and 6 1⁄2" (16.5cm) long.

Materials:

  • Two Skeins of yarn in complimentary colors
  • Four US 6 (4mm) double pointed needles

You Will Also Need:

  • Yarn needle, scissors, stitch marker

Suggested yarn:

200 yards of Chunky weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Lion Brand's Lion Suede, and Patons Classic Merino Wool
