Pattern Description:

This cowl is luxuriously wide and made to drip and drape over your shoulders. As I was charting the lace motif, it reminded me of airplanes and how I love to fly on vacation. In a sport weight yarn, it is a nice thing to have or knit when that little overhead airline A/C vent is blowing at you.

Gauge:

28 stitches = 4" (10 cm) in pattern

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sample Blocked Finished Size: 45" (114.5 cm) long, 14.5" (37 cm) wide.

Materials:

  • Needles: US Size 3 (3.25mm)
  • Yarn: Knit Picks Galileo (50% Merino; 50% Bamboo; 131 yards/50g), 5 skeins Luminous or your favorite sport weight yarn
