A lone skein of Delft Chickadee and falling temperatures.
Oh, and idle hands. Toying with a triple increase to go with mirrored decreases resulted in this little acorn pattern.
The pattern is one size, but very stretchy. If a deeper hat is desired, a second skein should be on hand. (The orange hat used about 230 yards of yarn, with one more repeat)
5.5 stitches = 1 inch in stockinette stitch
