Pattern Description:

February is the month of the Snow Moon. This shawl is a wispy little project that just hints at snow. It is worked in one piece from the bottom edge. The lace is followed by short rows to give the shawl its crescent shape. An I-cord bind off creates a neat top edge and prevents the shawl from rolling.

Gauge:

42 stitches and 28 rows/4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch after blocking.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 45 inches (114 cm) wide x 6 inches (15 cm) deep

Materials:

  • 410 yards lace weight yarn
  • US 1 (2.5 mm) 32 inch or longer circular needles
