Pattern Description:

Smoke and Mirrors, an elegant shawl that can be worn for evening dress or, more casually, with jeans. It is versatile and, while I chose a sparkly hard-twist black Merino for the background and a misty gray fingering wool for the smoke, the color choice is up to the knitter. I can see this in lovely aquas and blues, looking fresh and watery. I can see it in starkly contrasting colors to create a more dramatic look. The shawl is large and full of drape. It can be worn any number of ways, depending on the wearer's mood.
