This is the first of my mittens in my ebook "Counting Fingerless, Mittens in 1,2,3,4 colors". Smocking which is usually done with many colors makes a fabric colorful but here I have attempted to make it just with one!
Ribbing in the back of each mitten makes this pair fit most hands. Worked in just a simple smocked pattern, broader at the bottom and narrower at the top, these mittens knit up fast.
