Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit and purl stitches
  • Decreases
  • Knit in the round

Pattern Description:

This simple beanie is warm, stylish and quick to knit, making it a great last minute gift for men, women or children.

The slipped stitch pattern is easier than it looks and makes the knitting really thick so it is perfect for a warm, cozy hat.

They are pretty easy to knit, you need to know basic knit and purl stitches, decreases and be able to knit in the round.


16 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches in Stocking Stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Toddler (Child, Adult, Large Adult)


  • 100g / 150 yds Bulky/Chunky weight yarn.
  • Set of 4 double pointed needles in size US 10 (6mm)
  • Tapestry needle

150 yards of Chunky weight
