Pattern Description:

This pattern is the perfect simple stockinette sock pattern.

If you've never knit a sock before but are feeling brave enough to try on your own, then this pattern will be your guide!

This pattern is also great if you've made socks before, but would like an easy project to throw in your purse or knitting bag.

You can also easily customize this pattern for any size foot by simply increasing or decreasing the amount of cast on stitches.

Gauge:

About 9 sts to 1" in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Women's shoe size 7-9
Men's shoe size 5-7

Materials:

400 yards fingering weight (sock) yarn
US 1 (2.25mm) 32" circular needle for magic loop

I was very impressed with this pattern. It was easy to follow and worked well apart from the stitch count, to me, seemed a bit off for the heel turn. I followed the first two instructions for it, then followed the guidance from the side note.
Apart from that, I really enjoyed following it. Thank you!

I used this pattern to knit my first pair of socks.

I have completed one sock and am about to start sock two.

The instructions were clear and accurate except turning the heel - I felt that there was a mistake in the number of stitches, but the side note helped greatly.
