I designed this as a beginner lace project. It has a simple 4 row lace repeat with a lot of stockinette in between.
It is easily tailored to the size that you want and is great knitting for movie watching and conducive to throwing it down (without losing one's place, always a requirement in my book) to wrestle Junior away from the toilet plunger which he likes to sneak into his sister's doll bed. After the action I can pick it right up and just keep knitting without getting lost.
There is no preferred brand of yarn. I used Madelinetosh vintage but almost worsted weight any yarn will do.
4.5 st/inch on US 7 needles.
800 yards of Worsted weight
I've slowly been building up my knitting design business as Lyme Disease edged me out of practicing emergency medicine. I love fiber, color, and knitting and I hope that you will enjoy my patterns.
Please visit my blog, which I've had for 6 years that focuses on home decor (I have a pink banister!), my funny family and knitting, of course.
