Sometimes you just yearn for a simple hat. A no-frills hat that is quick to knit up and an easy project on the go. A simple stockinette hat that goes with everything; that does the trick!
Gauge:
21 sts/30 rows over 10 cm/4 inches in stockinette (unblocked)
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Finished size (unblocked) from cast on edge (stretched out) to top of knitted hat; ca 24 cm/9.45 inches high, 49 cm/19.3 inches around
Materials:
- One skein of Three Irish Girls Springvale Worsted (100 gram/3.53 oz - 210 meters/230 yards)
You Will Also Need:
- 3.5 mm/US4 DPNs and circular knitting needle (40 cm/15 inches) (or appropriate to get gauge)
- Darning needle
- Stitch marker
Suggested yarn:
140 yards of Worsted weight

About the Designer
I cannot remember how or when I started crafting, but most likely at school back when girls were taught sewing and knitting, while the boys had woodcrafting.
